MLS unveils “Summer is Calling” with a custom summer track, Mi Gente Lo Siente, produced by multi-talented singer and producer GOTOPO and Latin GRAMMY-award winning and Latin electronic music producer Don Elektron.

"Our Soccer is Calling” features the unrivaled energy of MLS. The anthemic campaign calls on existing fans and supporters while inviting new audiences to the league. It is the league’s rallying cry to be part of MLS’ historic moment and beyond.

 

2023 - SUMMER GOALS | Mid Season TV Spot

Summer 2023 was summer that changed MLS with the arrival of Messi. We created a spot that showed everyone what the league is all about .

 

2023 - OUR SOCCER OUR WAY | Start of 2023 Season

This spot showcased the most important players of the league and was created to covert the curious by showing how great a match can be.

 

2023 - SHOW IT TO THE WORLD | Summer TV Spot

Ahead of the 2022 World Cup, MLS wanted to showcased the players going to represent their countries in the largest stage in soccer. We wanted to show the world what MLS is all about.

 

2022 - EVERYONE IS IN | Start of the MLS season

MLS wanted to start the 2022 season reminding fans the excitement of attending an MLS match, we created a strategy and produced this spot.

 

WHO’S READY | SUMMER 2021

This spot was shot in 5 different cities and includes talent like: Ámine, Matthew McConaughey, Chicharito, Daryl Dike and Cade Cowell. I was in charge of negotiating the budget, developing the strategy, creating the idea, presenting and selling it to MLS (including the commissioner of the league). Once approved by the league I hired a freelance producer, manage the remote shoots, the negotiation with talent, was in charge of exporting and delivering assets to the networks and partners.

 

READY FOR IT | START OF 2021 SEASON

During the 2020 season no fans attended the matches, so we wanted to remind them that they are what makes the league. Our team hired twelve photographer in different regions where there is an MLS team to shoot fans. The result was a spot that marked the start of the 2021 season.


25 YEARS IN 25 SECONDS | RE-START OF THE 2020 SEASON

2020 was the 25th season anniversary of Major League Soccer. As a part owner of the newest MLS club, we enlisted the help of Matthew McConaughey to help us tell the story of this vibrant league. I was in charge of talent negotiation, presenting the ideas to all stakeholders at the league, budget, produce and distribute the spot to all networks.

 

25 YEARS DEEP - START OF 2020 SEASON

The 2020 season was a milestone for MLS it marked the 25th season. There was new clubs and a lot of excitement about the year. This spot came out right before the season was cancelled for COVID and re-started in the Orlando bubble.

 

REPRESENTA TU LIGA - ALL-STAR 2020 ANNOUNCEMENT

Danny Trejo helped us tell the story of a match unlike any other. MLS All-Stars vs Ligua MX All-Stars taking place in his native Los Angeles. Our team, presented the spot, produced, shot and negotiated talent for this spot. This video was used as an announcement video during a large press conference at the Banc of California Stadium.


OUR WAY | SUMMER 2019

For the 2019 season we produced two TV spots at the same time and released them at different times during the season. This spot includes Dave 1 and A-trak. I was in charge of presenting the idea, budget management, shooting, editing, production and distribution to all the networks.

 

MLS ALL-STAR IN ORLANDO | 2019

In 2019 MLS All-Stars faced off Atletico Madrid in Orlando. Our task was to create a video that could be run locally and boost ticket sales. We enlisted the help of Orlando “native” Eddie Huang. Our team produced, edited and distributed the final videos to all the media partners.

 

OUR SOUND | START OF 2019 SEASON

Prince Royce and TOKIMONSTA launched the 2019 MLS season. Our team was in charge of creating the idea, presenting it to the league, getting a budget approved, negotiate talent contracts, pre and post production, as well as, delivering all of the spots to the network partners. Prince Royce later performed during the All-Star week.


HOW WE DO | SUMMER 2018 (During World Cup)

During the summer MLS was having a hard time getting fans to tune-in during the World Cup. We convinced the client to create a spot to air on all sport network partners during important World Cup matches. I was involved from the pitch idea all the way to delivering the spots.

 

THIS IS OUR SOCCER | START OF 2018 SEASON

This was the first spot we created for MLS. We got 2 Chainz a true MLS fan to be the voice of the league and present everyone with the OUR SOCCER campaign. I was in charge of presenting the talent, sell the idea, get the budget, hire a production house, negotiate talent fee, pre, post production and delivery of all assets. This spot was viewed more than 6M times.
